Found in the heart of Toronto's picturesque Distillery District, Archeo is one of the GTA's most popular small to mid-sized wedding venues. This historic space is a modern-twist on industrial design, including a private patio for outdoor ceremonies or guest use during cocktail hour and dancing. Couples love Archeo's intimate vibe, high-quality food, and the surrounding exposed brick alleyways for wedding photos.
What does it cost to get married at Archeo? A 2025 bride was quoted $35K for 100 guests inclusive of food, premium alcohol, and ceremony fee. As of September 2025, their minimum spend has been confirmed at $16K before tax and gratuity. The fee to use their private outdoor patio is $1,000 (no bar) or $1,500 (with bar). Instead of offering per-person tiers, couples select food items from Archeo's 2025 wedding package menu to build their own per-person price.
On-top of your per-person, ceremony, and patio spend, Archeo requires couples to pay for coat check and 1-2 security guards. Optional fees include tastings (full plate price), cake cutting ($4 per guest), and use of their A/C equipment.
Alcohol can be by consumption, or a flat rate ($92 for standard, $103 for premium per guest) - read this recent thread discussing the pros and cons of both options.

"Fantastic venue inside and out! Distillery Events was great to work with, and Archeo is a showstopper venue for small-medium weddings. Even with just 45 guests, Archeo felt cozy and not overly large. If you're seriously considering Archeo or another distillery venue, BOOK EARLY. We contacted them 17 months ahead of our wedding and there were already two holds for our date. Be ready to request a hold on the day they open bookings, as this is an incredibly popular venue with really great service and a very reasonable minimum spend." - Google Review by Steve, Sept 2024
"I have photographed a few weddings at Archeo now and I can truly say, what a great experience!!!! Aside from it being a photographers dream in terms of access to the area, the food is amazing and everyone is always super helpful with logistics on the day of. I have photographed a ton of weddings and Archeo has to be one of my favourites." Google Review by Melista Bahler Photography, Feb 2025
"Did a corporate event here, the staff were amazing, vibe was beautiful, the event coordinator Katerina and her team were helpful. Would come back just wish parking was easier." Google Review by Lisa, Jan 2025
"We're actually doing our wedding at Archeo in April, but it's pretty expensive, and they're very by the book. Unless you have unlimited money for a custom menu, rentals, etc. But if you're fine going with their regular menu options it isn't too bad..." u/Mellylolz - Reddit, March 2025
"I can confirm the food at Archeo is amazing! We had our wedding upstairs at their sister space, The Loft (same company/staff/kitchen) and our food got lots of compliments. The company (Distillery Events) was very easy to work with. Archeo’s space is also lovely, it’s where we had our menu tasting. I am just unsure about their ceremony space and whether outdoors is possible- Archeo was booked which is why we ended up at The Loft in the end..." u/Zenkas - Reddit, February 2025
"I was considering Archeo for our fall 2025 wedding. Toured it recently and was very disappointed. We were planning for ~100 guests (quoted $35k for food, premium bar, ceremony). We found the space a bit tight to accommodate dinner and dancing. I also wanted to think of my guest’s experience and it may sound odd but knowing they only had 3 bathrooms and no bridal suite was a big turn off. I did a lot of research comparing venues and found they were in the mid to high range price wise but in terms of value received, there are better venue options for a similar price or less." u/Visible-Mushroom9436 - Reddit, January 2025
“[Archeo's] Staff were amazing. Our day of coordinators rated em 10/10 for communication and prepping. The venue coordinator asked us for our preferred drinks and had em ready for us at various times including right after the first dance. They had a platter of canapes for us in case we missed em during cocktail hour. Everyone raved about the food. Price comes with menu, table numbers, table runners. They also made a welcome sign on a chalk board.” u/foreign_strategy_615 - Reddit, December 2024
“Wedding planner here; Archeo is my vote. Amazing quality food, great service, no room rental fee when you meet the minimum spend (other than the small ceremony fee) and Distillery Photo permit included if you’re into the area. I have planned so many weddings there and have always had a great experience. u/vchrisman - Reddit, 2022
Archeo is part of Toronto's Distillery District, which is a historic cobblestone village full of shops and galleries. During the wintertime, Distillery hosts Toronto's Christmas Market which draws large crowds to drink cider, shop for trinkets, and take pictures by the Christmas tree.
Archeo is a designated event space that hosts weddings, showers, and corporate events. A former 19th century carpentry shop, Archeo has exposed brickwork throughout and uses 150-year old reclaimed wood for their tables and bars. On their website, they call their aesthetic a "unique blend of rustic elegance, fusing contemporary style and historic tradition", which we think is the perfect way to describe this space. Check out their Instagram for pictures!
As a historical building in a residential area, Archeo has noise and decor limitations that couples should review prior to booking. For example, confetti is not allowed, items cannot be taped or posted to walls, and music on the patio must be shut-off by 11PM. For a full list of their rules - and details on added venue fees - see their latest wedding FAQ.
Archeo can accommodate 128 guests for sit-down dinners and up to 140 for cocktail receptions. They have an outdoor patio that can be used by couples for an additional fee ($1,000 without a bar, $1,500 with a bar), which most couples opt to include.
