Elora Mill is a historic hotel and spa wrapped around The Grand River, located an hour and a half outside of Toronto. Previously an active mill (175 years ago!), the space has been transformed into an elegant and serene getaway. As a wedding venue, it offers large spaces that can accommodate up to 200 guests and use of their expansive gardens for photographs. Couples often have their wedding party and guests stay or on-site or in neighboring hotels, turning weddings into weekend events.
Per person packages
What does it cost to get married at Elora Mill? Based on a peak-season, Saturday wedding in The Grand room, you can expect to spend a minimum of $54,000. This includes $275 standard package for 160 guests, $6,500 room rental, and $3,500 ceremony fee. Read below for a detailed breakdown.
Per person packages
A 2025 couple paid $250 per person for their standard package (no upgrades) during peak season before added venue and ceremony fees.
2026 weddings are confirmed at $265 per person for peak season (April - Dec) and $245 off-season (Jan - March). Starting 2027 these prices will be raised to an estimated $275-$285 per person during peak season.
Your per person package includes a lemonade or warm cider welcome drink, cocktail hour with passed apps, 3-course plated meal, wine service during dinner, open bar, 2 late-night food stations, and cake cutting. It also includes a shuttle service within the Elora Mill property for the couple during photographs and any guests with mobility restrictions.
Add-ons include premium bar, premium menu options, additional courses, additional late-night food stations, and custom cocktails. Couples that go all-out can expect a bill of $345 per person in peak season in 2026, and $355-$365 in 2027.
Note that insurance fees and gratuity are already included in their packages. We appreciate this, as many other GTA venues share per person fees not including gratuity (most often 18%) to make their price seem artificially lower.
Venue fees and minimums
Elora Mill charges a $3,500 ceremony fee (this raises to $6,500 if you are not also having your reception on-site).
Room fees are $5,000 for The Irvine room and $6,500 for The Grand Room. The Grand Room fee includes use of their rooftop patio.
Weekend weddings during peak season have a minimum spend of 160 guests (The Grand room) and 70 guests (The Irvine room). If your guest count is lower than the minimums, you can make-up for the spend by adding on additional items to your package, such as selecting a premium bar.
Other fees
We find that Elora Mill is very transparent with their prices and has no hidden fees. The only unexpected cost we've come across is that they charge $300 in A/V set-up if you do not select a DJ from their preferred vendor list.

"I just had my wedding at Elora Mill and although I had heard great things about the service, experiencing it first hand was spectacular! The whole team at Elora, from my wedding coordinator Sam M, to my day of assigned staff was amazing. Madison was assigned to me for my wedding and she was my right hand. Madison took care of every little detail, things I didn’t even think of. Guests were also very complimentary of Madison as not only did she make sure the groom and I were taken care of, but even my guests. A huge thank you to Madison, and the staff at Elora" - Google Review by Alex, July 2025
"We recently had our wedding at Elora Mill, and we truly cannot say enough about how incredible the experience was. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. Emily, our main point of contact, was nothing short of amazing—she made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire planning process and ensured that every detail was flawlessly executed. The staff at Elora Mill were attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making our wedding unforgettable.
From the stunning venue to the impeccable service, everything exceeded our expectations. Our guests were raving about the food, the ambiance, and the seamless flow of the evening. Elora Mill didn’t just host our wedding—they crafted an experience that felt like a dream come true. If you're looking for a wedding venue that is elegant, warm, and run by a team that truly cares, look no further. We are beyond grateful for everything they did to make our day so special! Thank you, Elora Mill!" - Google Review by Mike, April 2025
"Attention detail, lovely staff, one of a kind experience. We were married at the Mill and returned for our second anniversary and the whole experience top to bottom was fantastic. The room was beautiful, and we had a special gift waiting for us with a hand written card congratulating us. [...] The food is always so top notch with knowledgeable wait staff. Our night away was made extra special by staff acknowledging our anniversary and even giving us a little teddy bear at check out when they heard we had a baby at home. We love the Mill and can’t wait to come back" - Google Review by Sarah, January 2025

"I had my wedding at one of the other Pearle venues and I did not see any other couple on my day. Staff were amazing, food was delicious. Elora Mill is a stunning venue as well. Can’t speak to the other venue but I can’t recommend pearle weddings enough." u/jenniiferrmarie Reddit, October 2025
"Wedding planner / coordinator here! I just did a stunning wedding at the Mill in March. Everything was so perfect!! The couple and the parents stayed at the Mill before and after the wedding. They got a special rate. Some of the guests got Airbnbs. The girls got ready in the brides room and they were given the option of lots of spaces for getting ready etc. The groom and the guys did some of the getting ready photos in a whiskey / cigar lounge which was also part of the package." u/awarenessok1970 Reddit, October 2025
"[I had] a 3pm ceremony at the Elora Mill a month ago. Cocktail hour was scheduled 3:30-5 and then dinner 5:30-7:30. Dinner actually ran until 8 then we kicked off the dance floor. Late night food came out at 10:30. We did a first look before the ceremony and had plenty of time during cocktail hour for the photo tour. Nothing felt rushed and it was incredibly organized. We had so many compliments on the wedding and how smoothly everything went. The venues coordinators were also excellent and carried my bouquet for me and bustled/un bustled my dress whenever needed. They also made sure we ate and had drinks waiting for us upon arrival at the reception venue." u/lato0948 Reddit, September 2024
"Congratulations! My husband and I just got married there in December and it was perfect. The venue honestly exceeded our expectations. They really go above and beyond to make sure you have no stress and can enjoy your day..." Meghan S., Facebook, February 2024
Weddings at Elora Mill are run by Pearle Weddings. Pearle Weddings runs wedding events for many GTA venues including The Pearle Hotel, The Cambridge Mill, and Spencer's at the Waterfront. In our opinion, coordinators provided by Pearle Weddings are very professional - we've only had great experiences.
Elora Mill is a European-styled hotel and spa nestled in greenery and gardens. Ontario's Grand River flows through Elora Mill, creating the perfect backdrop for photographs. Most couples choose to extend their wedding as an entire weekend getaway so guests can take advances of the spa amenities and nearby activities such as hiking, zip lining over the gorge, fly fishing, and artisan shopping at St. Jacobs.
In addition to room blocks at the Elora Mill hotel, you will want to also block rooms at nearby hotels to provide guests a range of prices options. The nearby Best Western Fergus and Delta Guelph are popular options.
For guests staying off-site, plan for transportation to shuttle guests on and off the property as late-night Ubers and Taxis are limited in Elora. If you're looking for a shuttle service, we recommended Red Car Service.
Elora Mill has three spaces available for weddings: The Foundry Chapel, The Irvine room, and The Grand room.
The Foundry Chapel is a French-inspired, airy ceremony chapel that can seat up-to 200 guests.
The Grand Room is the largest available reception space (200 seated guests), with high wood beam ceilings and use of the outdoor rooftop terrace. Having access to the terrace allows guests to enjoy fresh air during dinner service and dancing. If wanted, you can have a DJ set-up on the rooftop terrace!
The Irvine is a more intimate space that can accommodate 90 seated guests. With exposed brick walls and two large fireplaces, it has warm and cozy vibes.
