Zola wedding website reviews
“I used Zola and it was pretty easy using their templates. (They had a good variety of options and one that really fit our color scheme/theme.) I liked that it can also be made PW protected and the registry can be directly link along with outside registries as well. Some people reported having issues accessing it, but if it's PW protected, then they can't search for it and have to specifically type the URL.” u/Ok-Condition-7335, Reddit - September 2024
“We are using Zola and absolutely love it. I haven't used any of the other websites, but Zola's layout is very easy to use. You can set up online RSVPs, etc, like other sights, but what I love most about Zola is how the registry works…” u/SlightlyOverdue, Reddit - March 2022
Considerations before choosing Zola

You should know - past users have experienced issues with Zola's RSVP functionality, and a lack of customer support to resolve issues promptly. The last reviews (that we can find) citing this issue are from December 2024. So, hopefully the issue has been resolved!

“One friend used Zola and it was a nightmare for her and guests. Customer service was nonexistent, guests had a terrible time rsvping and being able to use the registry. She said that they would skip the website if they were to do it again.” u/DesertSparkle, Reddit - December 2024
Best wedding website for registries: The Knot and WeddingWire

They have all the basic functionality you need, the ability to set passwords, and standard templates in a variety of styles. The Knot and WeddingWire (who are owned by the same company) have integrated registries and partnerships with most major retailers such as Pottery Barn, Target, Amazon, West Elm, Etsy, and Crate and Barrel.

  • Standard functionalities
  • Template themes range from floral to Botanical, Rustic, Classic, Modern, and Bridgerton (!)
  • Mobile editing
  • RSVPs, guest tracking and communication
  • Password protected and private websites
The Knot wedding website reviews
“I use the knot and have had no issues with it so far. We aren’t to the rsvp point yet but am able to have pages for hotel info, registries loaded in smoothly. added pictures changed around headings etc. Like another comment mentioned, you don’t have total control over all the possible ways you could customize a website, but for me there were already so many decisions to make I was fine not having more options to fret over, and after looking through Zola, minted and the knot I just liked the available themes better.” u/OTPanda - Reddit
Considerations

We couldn't find many negative reviews on The Knot or WeddingWire related to wedding websites, but there are a growing amount of community and user concerns about the integrity of their vendor listings and reviews. Users also noted that their templates are less modern, unique and customizable in comparison to sites such as Bliss & Bone.

Best looking wedding website: Bliss & Bone

Bliss & Bone offers high end, aesthetically beautiful wedding websites. With more customization options, users are able to ensure that the website is exactly how they want it. Out of all the user reviews we explored - and we read through a lot - Bliss and Bone was most often cited as being the best wedding website out there. Unlike the free wedding websites we've reviewed above, Bliss & Bone charges a monthly fee of $15 for basic and $21 for premium functionalities.

  • Best customization abilities, so it’s just right
  • Tons of modern, great looking templates
  • RSVPs, guest tracking and communication
  • Create your own custom logo and monograms
  • Match your wedding invites to your wedding website
  • Custom URLs (purchase your own via GoDaddy or other domain sites)
  • Multi-language websites
  • Password protected and private websites
Bliss and Bone wedding website reviews
“Bliss and bone was great for our wedding website. Customer service (when I needed help figuring out why my custom URL wasn’t working) was so helpful and their response time was super speedy. The rsvp was super handy - you add in all the names and set the website to the guests name to sign in [...] Bliss and bone I also found had more modern and aesthetically pleasing designs. Zola and with joy didn’t look nice (or match the aesthetic of our invites)." u/Creambunny - Reddit
Considerations

Due to their customization abilities, Bliss & Bone may be too complex for users looking to stand-up a wedding website fast. However, we didn't find building a website with them overly complicated - and if you get stuck, there are lots of TikTok tutorials to help you out.

"Another vote for Bliss and Bone! As other ladies have said, customer service replies super quickly and are very helpful. Some people have mentioned finding the site not user friendly, but I thought it was very easy to use and customize, not to mention non-cheesey looking templates were important to us. We didn't use their registry, used Hitch'd instead where you pay a one-time flat fee." u/ZookeepergameAny564 - Reddit
